Warranty Policy for Hakko Products

Hakko Products Pte Ltd warrants that all HAKKO products will be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. All warranties are not transferable.

  • No warranty shall apply to products that have been worn out, damaged, altered, abused, improperly installed and/or maintained, repaired after purchase, or have had their identification markings removed or altered in any way.
  • No warranty shall apply to consumables (such as tips, nozzle, blades, metal parts, filters, heating elements and the like).
  • No warranty shall apply if the claimant is unable to show proof of purchase.
  • No warranty shall apply if the product was not bought via Hakko Products' official sales channels. 

Hakko Products warranty obligation shall be limited to repairing or replacing any product determined to be defective. Replacements may include new or factory refurbished products. Hakko Products reserves the right to inspect any product to determine whether such product has failed due to a manufacturing defect and all warranty claims must also comply with the warranty workflow set forth below.

Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty shall be the exclusive remedy for any claimant. Hakko Products shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or indirect damages (including without limitation damages for loss of profit or business interruption) arising out of the use of inability to use any product.

Warranty for Other Brands

Each brand is subjected to its manufacturer's warranty. Kindly reach out to your respective sales rep for more information on warranty on LPKF, Vessel, Techspray, Optilia, Needham etc. 


WARRANTY PROCESS

All claimants must obtain a Reference number from Tokimeku before any equipment is returned. Returns without a Case number will not be accepted. Proper information must be provided on all units that are being returned.  Full compliance with these procedures lies solely with the claimant.

Disclaimer

Each claimant is responsible for all shipping charges (to and from Hakko Products/Tokimeku) and any applicable taxes and/or duties. Claimant is responsible for ensuring the package is properly packaged. We will not be liable for damage or loss to the product that occurs during the return shipment and warranty will be void.

To proceed with a warranty claim:

  1. Email sales@tokimeku.comsales@hakko.com.sg with a detailed description of your product issue, together with your proof of purchase
  2. Our team will first troubleshoot the issue. If the problem falls under manufacturing defect AND is within the specified warranty period from date of purchase, warranty is eligible.
  3. You will be provided with a warranty reference number which should be written on the parcel. Please note that you will be responsible for the two-way shipping charges and to ensure that the package is properly protected.
  4. Upon receiving your package, our team will inspect to see if the damage falls under warranty.
  5. If yes, repair/replacement will be carried out and the unit will be returned.
